In partnership with Prince George's County Public Schools, we are excited to offer an apprenticeship program for students interested in pursuing a career in real estate. We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic rising seniors to join our Student Apprentice Program. This program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education combined with hands-on work experience. Apprentices will have the opportunity to focus on marketing, sales, or transaction management, gaining valuable insights and skills in their chosen areas. This is a paid position, with apprentices working 20 hours per week.

Program Highlights
  • Eligibility: Designed for rising seniors with the availability to work 20 hours per week.

  • Education and Work Experience: The program combines classroom education with real-world experience.

  • Licensing Preparation: At the conclusion of the apprenticeship, students will meet the requirements to sit for the state exam to become a licensed real estate agent.

  • Career Skills: Gain the skills necessary to create a successful real estate business.

  • Focus Areas: Apprentices can elect to focus in the areas of marketing, sales, or transaction management.

  • Hands-On Experience: Apprentices will get hands-on experience to help them decide if they truly want to pursue a career in real estate.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Focus:

  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing campaigns.

  • Create and manage content for social media platforms.

  • Design promotional materials, including brochures and online advertisements.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Participate in open houses and community events to promote the company.

 

Sales Focus:

  • Support the sales team in daily activities.

  • Assist in preparing property listings and presentations.

  • Participate in client meetings and property showings.

  • Conduct research on potential clients and market conditions.

  • Help manage client databases and follow-up activities.

 

Transaction Management Focus:

  • Assist in coordinating real estate transactions from start to finish.

  • Prepare and review documents, contracts, and agreements.

  • Communicate with clients, agents, lenders, and other stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Help maintain accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications
  • Currently a rising senior in Prince George's County Public Schools.

  • Strong interest in the real estate industry.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
